ESD protection standards

According to the American ESD Association ANSI/ESD S20.20 standard, the electrostatic dissipation time needs to be tested under high wind speed conditions, requiring rapid decay from 1000V to 100V. The test uses the charge plate monitoring method to record the voltage decay curve to ensure accurate data. It is suitable for electronic manufacturing, semiconductor and other ESD sensitive environments to verify the electrostatic neutralization efficiency of ion fans and other equipment, and the residual voltage should be stable within ± 35V.

Test instrument: CPM374

Using CPM374 electrostatic tester, the test voltage decays rapidly from ± 1000V to ± 100V at a measuring distance of 30cm, which meets the requirements of IEC61340-5-1 standards. The test environment humidity is 55% and the temperature is 25°C to ensure accurate and reliable data. It is suitable for electronic manufacturing, semiconductor and other ESD sensitive areas to verify the efficiency of ion fan, and the residual voltage is stable within ± 35V.
